On the 1st, we could make our way up to Inverness with a scenic drive and a few lovely stops along the way—Dunkeld is a charming little town, perfect for a wander through the woods to a waterfall and an old bridge. We can also include a stop at a castle or a distillery en route, depending on your interests.

The following day is open for exploring highlights around Inverness—think Clava Cairns, Culloden Battlefield, Loch Ness, and Castle Urquhart. There’s plenty to see, and we can tailor the day to suit your pace.

On the 3rd, we can either take the same route back or opt for a longer return via Glencoe for more stunning views. Either way, basing ourselves in Inverness for two nights and taking day trips from there is a great plan. We’ll just want to strike the right balance between how much you'd like to see each day and how early you'd prefer to be back in Inverness.
